Family Time in the Golden Hour - Napier portrait photography

All parents know just how fast children grow and change and how important it is to soak up and enjoy the here-and-now. But it's not always easy in hindsight to appreciate just how magical things were at one small moment in time. That's why Lou and Chris decided that professional photography with their kids was a priority. Since I've been shooting them (almost) every winter, their brood has grown from two beautiful young girls to four and it has been like watching a little miracle in the making. This year we planned our session for the 'golden hour' because to me it's a time of day that truly does communicate the beauty of being part of a changing family.
